We had a fantastic stay! The staff was beyond phenomenal and the breakfast and s’mores were so great! We would definitely stay here again. The only thing I would say is the bed was very hard. But some people prefer that. We don’t.

Nothing better than having breakfast looking out at mountains on two sides. Cozy, secluded cabin with a very comfortable bed. The staff were all so friendly with great hospitality. Be sure to get in on the s’mores offered nightly.

Conveniently located. Exquisitely clean. The in-room fireplace and jetted tub (including complementary bath salts) was heavenly. Breakfast was comprehensive with many choices including cereal, hard boiled eggs, pre-made waffles, yogurt, etc. The evening make-your-own s'mores were quite enjoyable and unique. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. What didn't I like about the property? The stairs leading to the reception and breakfast area were irregular and the ground uneven. I can easily imagine someone losing their footing and getting injured.

I don't typically leave reviews but this place is such a hidden gem. The exterior looks like a pretty mediocre motel but inside is so amazing. We had a king suite, breakfast nook, full cabinetry, fridge, microwave, hot plate, and all the dishes/pans needed. Gas feed grills all over even up on second floor. Fireplace, heart shaped jetted tub, clean and well appointed and tons of room. I won't tell your kids but from 6-8 they do S'mores around the fire pit, big pool and hot tub. Great place to connect with others staying there or you can be totally isolated. Estes is a beautiful place in general and this hotel makes a great place that is actually easy on the budget. Just amazing!!

We stayed in a loft style. It was absolutely beautiful. Small kitchen with hot plates, dishes, coffee maker, sink, fridge and microwave. 2 private bedrooms and a bathroom. The fireplace and high ceilings were a great touch. Big balcony with grills, pool and hot tub and a smoking area far enough away to keep the property clean but not too far of a walk. Very clean and cozy. Breakfast was great. The maintenance guys introduced themselves, the front desk staff was cheery and attentive. Only wish we stayed for more than 1 afternoon/eveing/morning.

Charming hotel with great extras that made our families stay special. An indoor poor, outdoor pool, hot tub, ping pong table, playground area, daily breakfast included, board games in the lobby and basement of building b, coin laundry, nightly free s’mores and popcorn, yard games, amble outdoor seating with fire pits, and BBQ grills/picnic areas. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a great weekend!

We only stayed one night while on a 2-day trip to Rocky Mountain National Park, but it was exactly the respite we needed! Our 7yo loved the indoor pool and the hot tub, while closed for a short time, was quickly cleaned and reopened by the attentive hotel staff. The Inn is just down the road from all you might need and convenient to the national park. We definitely plan to return the next chance we have to visit Estes Park. Thank you!

The room was amazing, they had smores and breakfast there. The pool is in its own separate building so it was super cold, the hot tub is located outdoors but was awesome and felt great! It was just right off the main road as well so easy to get to but keep an eye out so you dont pass it up. Overall happy with our experience.

I loved my stay here! Had i known I'd enjoy this hotel as much as I did i would have come up a night earlier. I got a room with the jet tub and mini kitchen space. There was outdoor furniture right outside our door on a private deck that we sat at night looking at the starts. There was also propane grills available for use that were clean and well maintained. The pool and hot tub area was nice. I really enjoyed the hot tub! It was clean big and powerful jets. I'd like it if there wasn't kids aloud in but that's just a personal preference. There is a movie room with dvds people can take back to their room and board games. There breakfast was really simple but with so many places to eat near but it's not a big deal. Overall a great stay and we will be back!

Our stay at the Appenzell was absolutely fantastic, largely thanks to the incredible staff who went above and beyond during an unexpected snowstorm. Patty & her crew got us out during an unexpected snowstorm; their friendliness and dedication really made us feel looked after. The location was a short drive or reasonable walk from the town and the lake, and we loved being so close to the national park. The room itself was nice, especially the fireplace which kept the whole place cozy during the snowy days. The kids loved the pool & us the hot tub, which was the perfect way to unwind. Between the smores, waffle breakfast and the welcoming atmosphere, it was exactly the kind of family getaway we needed. They are friendly & good with kids.
